Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) is a slacker by day, party animal by night... until he finds a serious career that's seriously cool: crime-fighting action hero. As the Green Hornet, he teams up with gadget wiz and martial arts master Kato (Jay Chou) to take down LA's underworld. Even Britt's assistant Lenore (Cameron Diaz), doesn't suspect this mismatched pair is the masked duo busting the city's toughest thugs led by Chudnofsky (Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz, 2010, Supporting Actor, Inglourious Basterds).

With style, swagger and an arsenal of awesome gear, the Green Hornet and Kato are doing justice their way, making every mission a mix of over-the-top action and outrageous comedy.

Never saw the TV show, dont really know much about it, but Buzzed off the original trailer for this.
The film is a good 2 hours spent, not a bad movie, not a great movie.
Reminded me of Kick Ass a little, but nowhere near as good or as inventive.
The chemistry between the Green Hornet and Kato is very good.
The best part of the movie is that it is Very Funny in parts.
Not a big fan of Seth Rogen, but he was good in this, in a performance in which he seemed to be channelling Will Ferrell's performance from Step Brothers.
Jay Chou was good with his deadpan delivery and Action.
Christoph Waltz, last seen winning an Oscar for Inglorious Basterds, gives a very Quirky and Funny performance as the Bad Guy of the piece.
Cameron Diaz was criminally underused. The Cameo by a certain up and coming star at the beginning was just Awesome.
The Green Hornet Mobile was all kinds of cool.
So anyways, the film is a good laugh, but could have been 20 mins shorter

This is one of the coolest films of the year with a fantastic story and one great cast, I wasnt a hundred percent sure about Seth Rogen at first being in such a role but giving the way in which the film has been made he was great casting and very funny as always with his unique humour, Jay Chou was brilliant as Kato & Christoph Waltz was a very cool villain!! This is top class entertainment on every level, its got gadgets, girls, kung-fu fighting, action, comedy and is certainly worth checking out for a night in!!

I had just finished watching this and I throughly enjoyed it. At first I was only interested in this film because Seth Rogen was in it but it turned out to be very good, it's one of those Superhero films that you don't need to take so seriously such as "Kick-Ass". Overall I enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone it can also make two hours fly by very quickly.

If you expecting the depth of story, effects and grittyness of the likes of superhero movies such as the new batman series. You will be sorely disapointed. Seth Rogen although a great comedy actor i feel struggled to portray his character as per the comic hero. The effects are amazing and the banter between him and kato is entertaining.Infact i thing the character of kato overshadows rogens attempt to be the lead.Overall if your an action movie fan you will enjoy it.

I was highly anticipating watching this movie, and was expecting quite a lot from it. It had it's entertaining moments and it's comedic moments on behalf of Seth Rogen, but I was just seriously underwhelmed and even slightly bored with this film.

A lot of explosions and gun shots fired all over the place, but the action and fighting was quite cheesy and I found Jay Chou (Kado) to be quite irritating. Diaz was underused, and I'm not sure if Rogen, as much as I love him, was right for an action hero role. He's great for injecting humour which he executed perfectly in this role, though.

Saying all of that though, this movie is good fun, and will probably keep you entertained, but if it had been maybe 20-25 minutes shorter, it would have left me feeling satisfied and not quite as restless.
