Clash Of The Titans (2010)

A quality movie which highly exceeded my expectations after watching, I found this a stylish and modern, like most films with the theme of gods. I found the acting was just spot on and brilliant. I cannot wait to watch Wrath of the Titans.

I came into this movie not knowing what to expect due to poor reviews by critics and customers, however, the trailer really did appeal to me. I decided to go to my local cinema to watch it and it did not disappoint. This is an action-packed adventure that contains incredible creatures and unbelievable special effects. It is a must see for anyone who enjoys a good action scene. Therefore, I suggest that everybody ignores the critics' reviews and makes their own judgement on it. I for one enjoyed it thoroughly and also loved the mindblowing sequel 'Wrath Of The Titans'. A must watch for Greek mythology fans!

Well im shocked this film has such poor reviews. All I can think of is... it can't be the same film I watched. Clash of the titans is a brilliant film, a must see! Liam Neeson is fantasic as always, the main actor does himself proud! This film has everything you could want, great acting with a fantasic cast, action packed, amazing special effects, even the monsters/witches are hidious to look at, a touch of romance and most important it tells a great story of a young man who fights for what he believes in, never forgetting who he is. whether thats a God or a Man. This film had me gripped from start to finish!

What a load of tripe ! this had barely any relivence to the orginal adventures of perseus ,it went into the twelve labours of hercules for most of the fimand the classic fight scene with the skeletons from the original was emarassingly awfuly portrated . . . on the other hand if you haven't seen the original,or are not familier with greek mythology then you might actualy like this

What always struck me as odd about this film was the supposed love for the original which director Louis Letterier claimed to have (with it even inspiring parts of the finale of his 2008 film 'The Incredible Hulk') for it.

Which made the fact that he made such a lifeless and dull movie all the more surprising.

While it mostly follows the story of the 1981 original and while it obviously boasts cutting edge special effects and set design the performances across the board are pretty mundane and it feels like a film which has had a lot of material cut out of it (unless a fair few major names signed up to appear onscreen amongst the Gods for just seconds and without any dialogue virtually) as well. I got bored pretty quickly with it all, some rare moments of location photography aside.

All round, it's just not at all a good film in any way.

The film was very good to watch, plenty of action & special effects. The die-hard fans might not enjoy this, as compared to the 1981 original, as i am a fan of that same film. This newer version, though, is worth watching & giving it a chance to grow on you.

Only focuses really on the special effects, apart from that the dialogue and everything else is just boring, and everyone keeps saying how its not a patch on the original but to be honest that's no more interesting than this one

This film is amazing! The acting and the way they created the mythical creatures was amazing!
You don't have to like Greek myths to enjoy this one, this is for anyone who loves a fright and a good action/adventure story!

Weve watched this film several times now age range 15-60. We all thought the effects were amazing the acting was fine not wooden as someone mentioned god knows how they came to that conclusion as weve seen a lot worse. So pleased we ignored some of the reviews just shows how we cant all like the same films so make your own mind up we wernt disappointed and would definately watch it again.

I exoected a little more when I sat down to watch this.

Awesome fight scenes, great story (remake) and some superb CGI moments. But throughout the story you can't help but feel a little confused, Unless you've seen the original you'll wish they stopped stabbing crazy monsters and start talking about what is happening.

If you want to kick back and chill out this is definately suitable, but it won't sit at the top of your most played list.
