I saw this at the cinema when it came out and had been looking forward to it for a while but very quickly realised they had made an autopsy of the Mythology. The original 80's movie wasn't perfect, it's dated now but stuck fairly closely to the Mythology. The 80's movie was far better than this monstrosity.
As I mentioned most of the actual Mythology (on which the movie is based) has been changed. The addition of Hades to the story doesn't make any sense. He's the master of the Underwold. Why would he be interested what goes on above it? Worthington is totally miscast as Perseus! He's wooden. His character is some halfwit fisherman who wouldn't inspire a fish to follow him never mind a group of soldiers.
The only good performances were from Mads Mikkelsen, Gemma Arteton, Liam Cunningham and Ralph Fiennes (despite his character being one of the main problems with the film). The story is just terrible though.
