My favourite film of all time, simply put. Just everything about it is amazing. The cast is perfect from the main characters to the odd walk on parts. The soundtrack fits perfectly with the genre of the film and makes it much more enjoyable. If you haven't seen this and you call yourself a snowboarder, then you are lying to yourself.

To some, well to most in fact, Out Cold will most likely be throwaway, base level humour aimed squarely at an audiance for whom the height of sophisticated comedy is the hair gel scene from Something About Mary. And I won't lie to you, Out Cold isn't even that clever.

Out Cold isn't a great film, or even a good film for that matter. But for anyone who has lived or worked in a ski resort it's an awesome film! You will no doubt, at least have heard lines from it recited, and more likely will have lost count of the number of times someone you know has suggested it for an evenings entertainment.

Simply put, it's a niche film. For none-snowboarders, it might be worth 2-stars. But for those of us who endure Summer, praying for the quick arrival of the first frost. Out Cold is essential viewing, and until someone makes a better comedy loosely based around snowboarding, it will remain so. Buy a copy, don't steal it from the Eskimos!
