What has got into you?
An invasion of slithery slug-like parasites from outer space arriving via meteorite in the redneck town of Wheelsy, South Carolina, where they turn most of the local yokels into flesh-eating zombies...
Having written for the jubilant trash-mongers at Troma Films before scripting 2004's well-received remake of Dawn Of The Dead, writer-director James Gunn crafted this hilarious splatter-fest as an homage to the comically violent horror films of the 1970s and 1980s, and he gets it just right with a low-budget look, perfect casting, grisly make-up effects and judicious use of CGI gore.
With laughs and gross-outs aplenty, Slither is the best horror comedy since Shaun Of The Dead!

Trust me theirs so much bad films that are worst then this out now that are getting all the publicity. This film is great the special effects are great good funny parts, and some disturbing parts. The acting is good the scares are good and the storyline is good. Ignore people who say this is the worst film everi can name thousands of films worst then this e.g Juno, Disturbia etc. This is a great film i'd say if u see it on tv watch or just rent it and see what you think.

Slither very much reminds me of the little seen 1986 Fred Decker movie Night Of The Creeps. Both films are horror comedy's. This film is great fun with some outlandish gloopy make-up effects. As the alien slug parrasites take over the human population of a little back water town in Hicksville U.S.A turning it's host's into zombie like incubators. At times the film is laugh out loud funny with it's very witty diologue, and credit to Nathan ( Fire Fly, Serenity) Fallon as the reluctant hero.
But for all the films good points, it's not as good as it could have been, All the ingrediants are there for a outstanding comedy, but although a entertaing film, never manages to capture it's full potential.
The film is worth watching, and at £5.99 is worth the money, but is a very slight disappointment.
Gory but fun

This movie has a great sense of fun, without losing the scares. Quite gory, and the plot has been done before, but it is a classic one. Very good acting as well, Nathan Filion is one of the most likeable actors about, and quite good at it too! More than worth buying at this price. A quirky, scifi horror that doesn't le you down.
