It's such a shame that the perpetual Mr. Average, Kenneth Branagh, directed this film. It had the potential to be really good, especially considering some of the great cast members, but Branagh managed to bring his nondescript directing to the project to turn it into a rather limp offering. I suppose we should be thankful he didn't act in it as well. Worth a watch, but not sure it's worth a purchase.

Big special effects, mindless action, it's just a good fun film to watch.

A decent comic book adaptation. A series of spin-offs will no doubt be in the pipeline.

O.k film found it a bit slow the action was o.k and to honest i suppose i was expecting more quality as some of the super hero films out now have alot more depth and you connect with the hero with this i found it void of that kind of substance

Great looking film. Some top fight scenes and surprisingly good casting although a better chick than Natalie Portman would have raised the standard.

The film is very funny in part and the story is solid and keeps you viewing. The acting is superb although I am not a fan of Natalie Portman.

With all the hype and my general excitement this movie should've been mind blowing. My hyped up enthusiasm for this movie was not worthy. I was utterly disapointed with this movie, it left me unsatisfied. It ended as soon as it began.

thought it was going to be rubbish but i was pleasantly surprised. it was a really good, action packed film. 4/5 stars
