  Passion missing

Maybe it is because I watched the original fame and loved it, but watching the end of this, I have not been moved as I was with the original series or even film. The storyline and characters are reasonably bland and they happen within a couple of minutes. I gave this 2 star for god knows what reason, but just trying to be kind.

Worst film i have ever purchased on here!

I have never written a review before but I had to in this instance. The traielr is as good as it gets, you don't get to know any of the characters at all. This film was very poorly written and shot does not live up to what it suggested it would deliver. if only there was an optino of 0 stars, steer clear!

Better than High School Musical . . . Seriously!

When I watched this, I immediately fell in love with it. It's way better than High School Musical as it's more energetic, more fun and more entertaining. There may not many recgonisable songs throughout the film, but the brilliant theme song itself 'Fame' performed by Naturi Naughton and Collins Pennie is absolutely spot on. If you're starting to think High School Musical is wavering, watch Fame and remember their names.

  Worse than the original.....

When I saw the trailer for Fame it looked so good. How misleading. If you want a good dance film then I suggest you only watch the trailer because thats it. This film is so boring. The only highlight is the dance sequence to Black and Gold by Sam Sparro. If you want to be sedated then buy it. Even stars like Kelsey Grammar and Megan Mullally are dull. 0/10 Absolute rubbish

  POOR REMAKE

After seeing the all singing all dancing trailer for this film I held out high hopes for this remake of the 80s classic.
Instead all I got was this massive let down the film seemed to spend to much time trying to be big and clever and fancy and shiny and forgot the main principle of films a plot!!!!
Shot more like a documentary than a film it centres on about 10 main characters who you have no affiliation for as you dont get to know enough about them and their four years at the performing arts school.
I am a child of the 80s and have found memories of the 80s original and of course the famous 80s song of the same name so what added further insult to injury was this version didnt even have the song that makes the film famous until the very end credits.

This film was terrible! I have never really been a fan of musicals, but this is by far one of the very worst I have endured. It just had a really pathetic plot, if you can even call it a plot. It spends far to much time trying to seem cool than actually focusing on a story... Avoid

I was expecting so much more from this film the trailer blew me away and i was annoyed i never saw it at the cinema because it looked so great. So have been waiting all this time for it to come out and got it the day it came out and watched it and was a bit dissapointed, i did enjoy it and maybe i need to watch it again, some people say better second time round so ill give it another chance, was expecting way more singing and dancing as well.

  Not enough dancing and singing

I enjoyed this film as the stars in it are talented but I feel there wasn't enough of their talents shown. That is a pity as it would have been excellent.

  Great film!!!

I've never seen the orginal's so this was all new to me. I thought it was great. I really enjoyed it. I love dance films and this is 1 to add to the collection. My fave bit was the part in canteen, that was awesome. I'd recommend watching it!
