i like this dvd set verry much. its set up so you just play the top 100 smackdown moments over the 3 dvds, so you dont have lots of menus to go through. whould have liked more JBL bits in it. would recomend to any wwe fan.

I was looking forward this kind of DVD, becouse I was a fan of the show many years ago. It brings back many childhood memories and includes moments wich I saw back then. My favourites are Cenas debut match and ironman match between Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar. Like I said moments are awesome. Only dissapointment was interviews in the middle of scenes. Most of the scenes and matches arent complete. It is also a countdown from 100 to 1 best moments. Michael Cole and Matt striker are hosting DVD thru moments. Interviews are the only reason why it does not deserve five stars. Moments are well picked from good old days. If you are wrestling fan it is worth buying.

The Best of Smackdown! - 10 Year Anniversary 3-disc DVD surprised me when it first came out because I didnt realise the show had been on for 10 years even though I watched the very first episode, I guess if you enjoy something enough you dont realise those things! Smackdown! started as a 1-off Network TV special that became it's very own network TV legitimizing the WWE's main stream status, now they were on network TV and not just cable they are entertainment mainstream. Although I still feel to this day Raw is the better show of the 2 (as a WRESTLING fan) Smackdown! is still one hell of an entertaining show and over the years has provided jaw dropping or just plain weird moments that you could never see anywhere else. Throughout it's turbulant history Smackdown has gone through many announcers, general managers and superstars the only 2 constants being Michael Cole (up to 2008 at least) and The Undertaker (who was originally drafted to Smackdown! when the show first seperated as a seperate brand to Raw).
This DVD boxset counts down the top 100 moments in Smackdowns! first 10 years. From the old WWF Attitude Era days there are moments such as Stonecold blowing up the DX-Express coach, The Rocks most impressive looking peoples elbow of all time and matches that include the very first main event in the shows history which saw The Rock challenge Triple H for the WWF Title with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee. It also includes moments from the WWE Sports Entertainment era of today which includes Brfock Lesnar and Big Show literally exploding the ring with a superplex, the debut of The Boogeyman, the tribute show held 2 days after 9/11 and full length matches that include the full length 60 minute iron man match between Kurt Angle and Brock nLesnar for the WWE Title, Undertaker Vs Randy Orton and Eddie Guerrero Vs Rey Mysterio.
This set is a must for anyone who calls themselves a wrestling fan as it includes some of WWEs finest and oddest moments, some of which have never been released on DVD before now. Hosted by Michael Cole and Matt Striker and with tonnes more moments this DVD is an essential part of wrestling memorabilia.

A Must Have For Any Fan!! Many Classic Memories!!! My Personal Fav When Y2J Got GORED GORED GORED Through The Titantron!

As a lifelong WWE fan, a person who owns many WWE DVDs and VHS videos from all eras - this one is one of the biggest disappointments I've ever come across.

Yes, there are some great moments on this DVD. The problem with it is you don't actually see them in their entirety. The best of Raw DVD was (mostly) complete segments, and it was excellent.

This DVD follows the format of those (extremely annoying) countdown shows you see on TV every week. The segments are chopped to pieces, and you get a constant running commentary from guys being interviewed about them such as Michael PS Hayes, The Miz, and Santino Marella - who is actually quite funny - not funny enough to make this DVD watchable, I'm afraid.
Younger viewers and fans of these countdown show MAY enjoy this set, but anyone who wants to see, feel, and truly appreciate these so-called 'Top 100 moments in Smackdown history' will not enjoy it. When you have a massive moment such as Hulk Hogan's return, you would expect to see a complete segment of it, from the beginning of his entrance to the minute he leaves the ring - but you don't. What you get is highlights of that 10-15 minute segment condensed into about 3 minutes. Not good enough.

When you buy a collection such as this, it's because you want to revel in the moments, the sounds, the sights, the music and the ovations - you do NOT get that with this DVD.

And whilst many of these moments really were great - there are a lot of them that only show the silly side of the WWE and even the funniest moments are chopped up so badly that you can't truly appreciate them. And by the time you do get to something worth watching, you're already in such a bad mood that it makes it hard to enjoy - and then they cut to a wrestler talking about the show in a studio which completely ruins it.

I'm not one the guys who complains about WWE's current TV product, because I do still enjoy it, and I truly expected to enjoy this DVD, but I didn't.

The one saving grace is that there are a handful of decent matches that are shown in there entirety - but that's not enough to make this DVD worth buying.

To put it in a nutshell, I would not watch this if it were on TV, and I'm not happy that I've bought it. Extremely annoying and deflating to watch as a WWE fan.
