True Blood: Season 3 (5 Discs)

I love this show, and thought seasons 1 & 2 were amazing. So when I heard the premise for season three, I was so excited, and maybe my expectations were too high, because I did not feel this season was as strong as the first 2. There's a lot of action, good twists...and it ends with a good cliffhanger, but there was definitely something missing from this one that the previous seasons had.
I've read about what season 4 is going to be about, so I hope 4 brings back the pizazz! Nevertheless it's still an amazing show and I'm gonna keep on watching!

So I have watched this season through twice already and I'm telling you......IT IS THE BEST YET! I loved it. It's different to the book so don't expect it to be the same, but that doesn't take away from it at all. Its exciting, funny, scary and sexy. One teeny tiny thing did annoy me though. I wont give it away but there was one part of the book I wish it had followed concerning Bill and Sookie's relationship. I guess Eric will just have to wait a bit longer *sigh*

It's got passion, scares, tears, smouldering looks from Eric, glares and grunts from Bill, Pam's one liners and a plot that holds you like a ravenous python from the moment the first episode spills across the screen.
I haven't been so utterly addicted to a t.v series in years.
It was recommended to me by a friend and i watched Season One in it's entirety over a rainy weekend, it left me breathless and i watched Season Two a few days later ( i disagree that it wasn't as good as the first, as again, it gripped me from the start! ) and via a good friend i have been fortunate to see Season Three in it's entirety too, and i have to say it is superb! The inclusion of a new " enemy and breed " is superb and the main villain again is so well written aND performed that you find yourself longing for him to be destroyed from episode one! It also reveals secrets about Sookie and she also gets a very handsome " protector ", Jason becomes a " cop " and Sam discovers the truth about his past and " family. "
Essential viewing and for those who have yet to savour this truly breathtaking series then start from the beginning and get lost in it's magic!

this season is amazing, start to finish. dont let season 2 put you off. this season is soooooo much better. it will make you laugh, make you cry, make you scream, you name it. so much goes on, its just perfect in every way :-) thankyou alan ball :-)

Season 3 is the best season by far! So much emotion, Season 3 will definitely make u be on the edge of your seat, laugh, cry, jump! The passion between eric and sookie heats up even more! The characters have grown throughout, See Sookie, Bill and Eric at their very best!
