When a young girl mysteriously disappears, Police Sergeant Howie (Edward Woodward) travels to a remote island to investigate. But this pastoral community, led by the strange Lord Summerisle (a brilliant performance by the legendary Christopher Lee), is not what it seems as the devout Christian detective soon uncovers a secret society of wanton lust and pagan blasphemy. Can Howie now stop the cult's ultimate sacrifice before he himself comes face to face with the horror of the Wicker Man?

This chilling tale of pagan culture will leave any man quaking in his boots and shaking like a baby girl. If you have never seen this amazing feat in cinema then you havn't lived, there is so much in this film to satisfy the viewer from stomach dropping moments to an entertaining soundtrack, it is probably the best horror film of all time and definatley one of the greatsest films of all time. Robin Hardy's expert casting and perfect setting play off the horror given in the plot and magnify it fivefold. Not to mention the fact that it features the king of horror, Christopher Lee. I have said so much already and not even talked about the film yet, you'll just have to but it and see for yourself... It's time to keep your appointment...

This movie truley is an amazing piece of cinema. Everything about it is great, the writting, the acting, the music, the scenery. Now I don't class this movie as a horror because I don't find it horrific in any way what so ever but it is a good thriller type movie. What is going to happen next? where on the island is the little girl? And why are the people so against cooperation? Tune in to find out. Hope you all enjoy
