Very enjoyable to watch for any type of audience young and old, even though it was set in the 70's. I personally think that the 70's comedy are still the best comedies even to this date. On the buses is so funny, and you can watch these films over and over again without getting bored!

On the buses is a classic the three are brilliant, the end of the pier humour is just as funny today as it was in the 70s some film spin offs didn't work but the on the buses trilogy certainly worked and has stood the test of time for over 30 years. Some of the incidents in the films are well telegraphed but they are still funny. The films are great to sit and watch when you have had a rough day they are gentle and relaxing. No gratuitous sex scenes or violence like modern day films/programmes, most of the comments were inuendo. Most of the activities were suggestive and not in your face like modern day stuff, this is why the old comedies have stood the test of time. Sadly they never did the reunion show that was muted in the press several years ago, Only Blakey, Olive and Stan are the survivors

These 3 films are classic, they have stood the test of time very well indeed! for their humour and contents. If you buy this you will not be disappointed, and you can watch them over and over again, and still find them very amusing.

The gang of the town and District bus company are back again for 3 films .
Stan and Jack are still driving poor old Blakey round the bend by doing everything but drive the bus to time table .
And hilerious moments a plenty make for a very injoyable hour and a half .
If you have seen the series and also the 3 films on the telly you will know the programme but if you have never once seen them at all then i suggest you bye this box set .
Evey time the films hit the telly i never get bored of them .
Reg varney is Butler and is great as the cheeky wise crackin bus driver .
There is one scene in either the 1st or second movie which involves Butler teaching his Brother inlaw Arthur to drive the bus , great slapstick .
And another scene involving the bus a tow rope and a motor bike and side car .
The three films are Classic British comedy , right up there with the Carry on's.
worht the money .
