The film is well worth watching, for the time it was made it is still good to this day as when it came out. All i can say is the steamtrain as run out of steam cos it is a poor rating on such a good film. Buy it and see.

I really cant see what all the fuss is about,people dancing around a street naked in costumes isnt really scary is it?yea the ending is ok but ive seen a lot better from modern horror films e.g the mist which i truely shocking!the end didnt really shock me because id had enough by then so i didnt really care,people were very easily scared back in those days,i mean take the exorcist for example,no-one i know is really scared by it now and when you ask people why they were scared back in the day they dont really know!!not good.

This is a proper British cult classic! Its a very unique film and you really have to see it to believe it. Watching it you get the sense that the entire film is building up to the now infamous ending. This is basically a film about what people are prepared to do for religion or more generally belief in something. You have got to see it.
