In Pixar's new animated-adventure, Ratatouille, a rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great French chef despite his family's wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. When fate places Remy in the sewers of Paris, he finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. Despite the apparent dangers of being an unlikely - and certainly unwanted - visitor in the kitchen of a fine French restaurant, Remy's passion for cooking soon sets into motion a hilarious and exciting rat race that turns the culinary world of Paris upside down.
Remy finds himself torn between his calling and passion in life or returning forever to his previous existence as a rat. He learns the truth about friendship, family and having no choice but to be who he really is, a rat who wants to be a chef.

Pixar produces another great animated family film!

Pixar has not yet made a bad movie, and they continue their tradition of entertaining family films with Ratatouille.
Remy is a sewer rat with a nose for picking the best food and an unnatural yearning for cooking. He dreams of being a top chef, but rats and kitchens simply do not mix. Human French wannabe-chef Linguini is clumsy and uncoordinated, but when he meets Remy, the two strike up a humorous alliance to become the best cook in the business. Together they aim to win their customers' hearts, and the approval of France's most harsh and sinister Food Critic (brought to life by an eerily spooky voice-over by Peter O'Toole).
With superb visuals, great music and an original and funny script with plenty of genuine laugh-out-loud moments, Ratatouille is another Pixar classic.

Not as good as I expected!

I can't believe people are writing that this is such a brilliant film! I was expecting as much! But I was very disappointed! OK, it's definitely something to watch! But keep your expectations low, then you will enjoy it even more! Could have been better overall. It does get better though as the film near it's end.
