  Noticeably weaker

All good things must come to an end, and in this case The Sopranos jumped the shark with the first half of season 6. The Sopranos, apart from only a very slight dip in quality in the 4th season has been consistently amazing up till now. It's a shame too because the season starts with one of my favourite episodes, "Members Only". This episode sets up the season very well. Unfortunately too much focus is placed on a particularly weak story arc and the season feels pretty mundane in places. There are still some great scenes along the way but generally, this season is slow. It picks up towards the end, "Cold Stones" and "Kaisha" are both good episodes. Thankfully, the Sopranos redeems itself with the 2nd part of Season 6.

  Not that good

I agree with one of the reviews already written. If you are a die-hard Sopranos fan you will want to watch this. It is slow paced and jumps around a bit, not your usual series. Some people may welcome this change but i wanted the tried and tested formula in the previous 5 Series. Probably shows more of an insight into the personailities and emotions within the Soprano family than other series.

This is the best show ever!

  Average - only for fans

I was disappointed with the basic lack of things happening in the plot. In other words: It's boring and fast forward inviting. The script writers have lost momentum. I guess it's natural, since they at this point have covered pretty much every angle of the Soprano life. This is an average box set and you should only get it if you are a diehard fan (like myself).

The Sopranos grabs you from the first scene and takes you on a rollercoaster of a ride that does, ent let you go, leaving you drooling for more. Season 6 is no exception, the shooting of Tony is a compelling story arch which is superbly played by James Gandofini and Eddie falco. The only downside is you see little of uncle junior and there seem,s to be no real cliffhanger at the end which i think is down to the fact that you being prepaered for the final chapter with takes place in season 6 part 2. Have have no doubt season 6 is building you up for a classic and memerable finsish.

  New Levels Of Artistic Greatness

Almost Every Episode is a piece of art, the direction is the best ever, the music heartbreaking in its piognancy. Depending on who you are you could consider this the best season of the sopranos ever or the worst. Either way its still the best show on television, the funniest, saddest most creative and dramatic show of all time. Features some of the greatest sopranos episodes ever with Members Only and Mr and Mrs Sacrimoni Request and Moe and Joe. Special mention to Edie Falco and James Gandolphini, the best actors to have ever graced the small screen.
