    SUPERMAN 1
You Will Believe A Man Can Fly
Brilliant Movie. One of the Original and Best Superhero movies ever made.
The film takes its time to establish events and characters and then when the story kicks on, it is genuinely exciting.
The casting is spot on, Christopher Reeves IS Superman, I dont think anyone will ever be as good as him.
The rest of the cast are in top form with Gene Hackman hamming it up, Marlon Brando adding Gravitas and Margot Kidder very good as Lois Lane.
No point really writing much. Its a Classic. It's Superman. FIVE STARS

    SUPERMAN 2
    The Adventure Continues
The more exciting than the first, as the background story is set up and we can jump straight into the Action and Dilemmas
Superman also gets to have a bit more fun in this one. The bad guys are genuinely terrifying.
I personally like this one more than the first. Classic Movie. End of. FIVE STARS

    SUPERMAN 3
    Going in the Wrong Direction
The 3rd Instalment of the Superman series is more Fun but getting a bit Campy.
It is weaker than the first two movies in terms of Story and Direction
Saying that it has a few Good points, one among them is Richard Pryor's manic performance and Superman going to the Dark Side.
Overall it Holds you attention and is a just about decent watch. THREE STARS

    SUPERMAN 4
    Disrespectful
Oh dear the Superman Franchise reaches rock bottom with this tacky mess of a film.
Very badly made, looks cheap and very silly at times.
I cant believe they let the Superman Legend be disrespected in this way.
Same thing happened with the original BATMAN Franchise, by the fourth movie it had turned into a joke.
Such a shame. This one is not even worth bothering with. ONE STAR

     Pocketful of Kryptonite...

If you love Superman you will ADORE this boxset. Packaged in a nifty steel embossed tin and spread over 13 discs the pleasures and delights on offer include...
Superman 1 and 2: Both classic examples in how to make a quality comic book movie
Superman 2: The Donner Cut - A chance to see how the sequel was intended to be seen
Superman Returns: A superb reinvigoration of a franchise
plus a superb overview of the character of Superman, commentaries galore, deleted footage, featurettes and much much more....
Sure you have to endure the disappointing Superman 3 and the less said about Superman 4 the better but this boxset represents fantastic value for money and is sure to be the highpoint of your collection for many years to come...

This is a fantastic 13 disc collection, and well worth 28.50.
Superman: From the opening trial scene to the last, a fantastically esquisit movie. 5/5
Superman II: Arguably better than the previous. 5/5
Superman III: Not as good as the last two installment's, but it's very funny and enjoyable. 3/5
Superman IV: Now, this movie is an abomination and an insult. 0/5
Superman Returns: This movie get's more flack than deserved, admittedly the story is a bit dull and boring in place's, and the acting is sketchy at time's, it is a marvelous reinvention of our favourite journalist. Oh, and Kevin Spacey is magnificent. 4/5

I am pleased to have this in my collection, it is a great big steel box jammed full of all the movies and some great extra material, strictly for hardcore fans otherwise buy the vanilla discs but it is well worth the investment
