Zhang Yimou directs yet another high quality film. I have a lot of time for Happy Times. The two main actors, the man and the blind girl, are very good actors and they make the film very believable. You wish the best for the characters and the story draws you in. The film is funny, emotional and sincere. As the dvd isn't expensive to buy, it's not much of risk buying it - I for one, recommend it!
