Review

Ultra-rare and available on DVD for the first time ever!

A group of travellers are trekking through the exotic forests of Thailand when from out of nowhere comes a martial arts maniac who hacks up most of the party with a multitude of deadly weapons and savage martial techniques. The mad man is the Spirited Killer, a forest dweller who will kill all those who enter his domain.

Leading those who survive this vicious attack is Tony Jaa, making his film debut, taking on the might of Thai action star and mentor Panna Rittikrai as the Spirited Killer. The action stakes the action stars and stunt teams give Jackie Chan and Jet Li a run for their money. This is the first picture from the team who would later bring the world Ong Bak and Tong Yum Goong.

This Film Is Absolutely Cack. I Have Both of Tony Jaa's Other Films And They Are Awesome. This One Shows TonyJaa For About A Minute & You Still Can't Tell If IT's Him. The Plot Is Predictable And The Acting Absolutely Rubbish And The Fights Are Like A couple Of Kids Playing. Don't Waste Your Money Buy Warrior King & Ong Bak.

Customer rating: 1 out of 5 stars Disappointing

Having seen Ong Bak (one of the best martial arts films I have seen) & Warrior King (Good but they clearly got carried away with a bigger budget), I really expected something similar from Spirited Warrior.
It took 4 attempts to watch this film from start to finish.
If you blink you miss Tony Jaa.
The most enjoyment you could possibly derive from this DVD is if you use it as a frisby!!!

Customer rating: 2 out of 5 stars deprived!

where do i start? As an avid admirer of the work tony jaa has contributed to martial arts cinema (must see ong-bak and warrior king) i was more than impressed to find that he supposedly had another film out being this. after only ten minutes of viewing i realised how much of a waste of time a film could be. the sound effects are awful, the martial arts are tacky (to say the least) and to cap it of the headlining actor of tony jaa is only in it for ten minutes! still there are moments of good action, but dont get your hopes up!
