after the first vision i wrote: not bad, but certainly not the best cartoon from the dreamwork animation studio's.
but it depends of course to what standards you refer...
so now recapitulate: the hero is lovable, the jokes and situations are funny, the story itself is rather predictable but is a good one. and maybe there could have been a little bit more twists in the plot, but nevertheless it's an enjoyable movie and fun watching.

Yes it may not quite be up there with the likes of Ice Age, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc etc etc but this is a really good animated movie.
I have all sorts of DVD's within my collection - oldies, thrillers, action and so on - my taste is diverse and I love all sorts of movies. I have Mamma Mia in there right thru to the Saw's and Hostel's too.
I sat and watched this movie and was pleasantly surprised by it, I didn't expect too much - I mean, a panda that does Kung Fu?! Come on!!
After it finished I said to my partner and her daughter and also my elderly mam, who had watched it too - 'what a good movie, I really enjoyed that' - and they all agreed.
It's a fun movie if you don't take it too seriously and it's certainly worth the low price of £4.99 to have it in your collection.
