Norman Wisdom Box Set (12 Discs)

I was delighted to have been given this as a Christmas present as my late father worked with Sir Norman at both Pinewood and Beaconsfield studios.

These are gentle comedies from when the world was a simpler place and are still very funny.

The pacing is great and 'the little man' wins in the end..

It's a shame that the pathos and level of acting that Norman Wisdom brought to these roles never singled him out for many more serious roles.

It takes a great actor to do comedy well on screen. Buy this box set and see a comic genius at work.

I used to watch norman wisdom as a child and had loads of videos, then i seen this in a shop for around 50 pound which still is a bargain for it but 27 pound is unbeatable.
it was better than i expected and it opens up into 6 sections containing 12 disks.
you watch these again and again, and will laugh harder each time there that good, deffinitly recomended at this price...

Defenately a must have!! Fun classic films for all the family! It has all the norman wisdom titles (doesn't include what's good for the goose though) excellent price and also comes with very nice packaging!!

this is a great box set couldnt wait to sit and watch them.Even my four year old watches these with me. great value for money. getting another set for a present for somebody.

this is probs the best comady movies in the world. He is a very funny man. and i am glad i found his movies on play.com thanks.
