Hate it, I hate it so bad.
I thought the first was pretty bad, but compared to this it is actually quite good.
Luckily it get's so much better with number three.
But this is horrible so don't buy it, and if you do you will never want to watch it again.
I just hate this and that's all I can say.

This second installment of Harry Potter seems weak compared to the rest. I still think its a great film but theres something missing that didnt give the film the same wow factor of the others. The special effects are again brilliant, especially the basilisk, the flying car and the whomping willow! Oh and definately not forgetting the Quidditch, which was brilliant!! This film is no good for people with a phobia of spiders!!
The bonus features are again great, ther is games, and guided tours, interviews, deleted scenes and loads more! There is also lots of stuff for your computer if you put the disc in there, theres screensavers, games and animations!! Definately a must have for Harry fans!

The 2nd Harry Potter films has a Much darker side compared to the 1st film.
I think this film is extremely faithful to the book & it shows in the film.
It introduces new characters which add a new dimension to the movie.

Graphics are faultless in the Quidditch scenes but the Spider Aragog could have been better.
Daniel, Rupert & Emma's acting has improved in this film as they are settling nicely in to their roles.

Gr8 for kids & Harry Potter fans

As the new Potter film (Order of the Phoenix) is due to be released and the last book is out a couple of weeks later my household has been over-run by all things Harry Potter. Please note there are no children in my home (says a lot about me).

I decided to go back over the last four Harry Potter films (look at my other Harry Potter reviews, if you want) and get the feel for them again before watching the new one at the IMAX.

So onto the review:

I forgot how dark this film actually is. The final battle with the Basilisk is the stuff of horror, the threat of death hangs in the air and there is a big spider ready to much down on our heroes. Dark and foreboding yes?

That is all good. However I couldn't help but shake the feeling that this just wasn't as polished as the first film (Philosophers Stone). Yes the special effects were good and yes the sets look excellent but it just didn't 'feel' as epic as the last film. It had a feeling of just getting this film out as quickly as possible after the first.

This is not a bad film at all but it does seem the weaker film of the four we have on DVD at the moment.

Talking of the DVD again this is excellent packaged and had fantastic features in keeping with the style of the film.
