I love this series, Alan B'stard really lives upto his name, he's manipulative, greedy, sexist, cruel, adulterous, but you'll love him all the same, lol. This is a very funny show, there're some great one-liners & its one of Rik Mayall's best performances in my opinion. I also love the character, Sarah B'stard, Alan's wife played by Marsha Fitzalan, she's as equally devious, adulterous & greedy as her husband & the 2 actors have great chemistry together, if you're a Rik Mayall fan or just a fan of british comedy its a must., buy it!

Comedy holds a mirror to society and what a polished looking glass this DVD set is.
Watching the DVD I am finding it difficult to tell where the fictional characters end and my memories of the MP stories of the time begin.
