I purchased this film having viewed a few other stephen frears movies... It had a feeling of lawlessness to it all, and to be honest really made me want to drive a car round london city centre walkways. It is definitely worth seeing this film because it sort of shows the birth of the death of todays youth... I'm 19 and I'm saying this. Other films you might want to check out are - The invisible (not yet available... ish) Funny Games (German language) The squid and the whale... by the way, I love independent films... i love mainstream movies too, but I have a hard on for independent cinema... especially sentimental drama
