Still Game is a comedy based around the lives of pensioner pals Jack Jarvis and Victor McDade. It's set in and around a fictional part of Glasgow called Craiglang, and Jack and Victor's home in Osprey Heights. I bought this dvd a long while back & only got round to watch it now!
i just can't stop myself laughing still game must be the best most hilarious comedy on this planet earth. even tho i've seen other comedys that are funny this one is by far the best yet ! keep them coming boys lol

This has to be one of the most brilliant comedy's around. My husband and I caught it one night on BBC 2 and again at Hogmanay - this then promted us to buy the box set. Everything about this show is brilliant - the characters, the acting and of course the 'patter'. My favourite character has to be Naveed who runs the local shop - his interaction and one liners with the other main characters are superbly written and they are delivered with a wit as dry as the desert. As well as being incredibly funny the show is also poignant and thought provoking - with themes of community, friendship and family all being explored.
This show should be prime-time as it far surpasses any of the current 'sit-coms' shown in these slots!!
My advice to anyone out there - buy it , you won't regret it!!
Can't wait for the Christamas and Hogmanay specials!!
