Please don't waste you're time with this. It beggars belief that this could have been created and occasionally written by John Sullivan. This is truly the most immature, predictable, pathetic shows to have ever graced BBC prime time. The only reason for watching this is to play a game with friends to see who can spot the punch lines coming first . Please ignore the other 5 star reviews given to this, these are written by people who, like this show, are stuck in the seventies.
Amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is just great that John Sullivan continues to write fantastic story lines. Even though Delboy and Rodney have settled down with their respective families, Boycie and Marleen continue the laughs out in the country, escaping from the Driscoll Brothers (the guys who beat up Delboy on Rodneys Wedding Day!). Even Duke has got a son name "Earl".
The odd mention of the peckham gang does not get missed.
Great work John Sullivan and the BBC.
Unlike others, a hugely successful spin off & very funny...

Created and written by John Sullivan, as a spin-off from Only Fools & Horses, The Green Green Grass focuses on Boycie and Marlene, as they move from London to the countryside, 'on the run from the Driscoll brothers'. Unlike so many other spin-offs, this one actually works very well, is extremely well written and as a result is very funny. With some hilarious subordinate characters, such as 'Elgin Sparrowhawk, Farm Manager', Jed and Mrs Cakeworthy (the cleaner that never cleans), it's a simple recipe for good old fashioned laughter, especially as, in this, series 1, Boycie re-invents himself as a 'gentleman farmer.' There's no doubt about this, its definately one of the best things you can buy on DVD at the moment, if you want a good laugh, look no further, click that buy button!
