I love science fiction programmes but I wasn't sure if I would like this one but I wanted something new to buy so I decided to give Primeval a try and I love it. In Primeval there is anomalies opening and creatures from the past and future are coming throw. So Cutter and The Team have to try and send them back. This is a great DVD with a good storyline and some good CGI scenes. I can't wait until I get series 2.

Doctor who is great, this isnt. Its alright, but none can really act, the special effects are the only thing good about it. Not at all scary, not at all funny, just action

Bland characters really make this series hard going - they're so two-dimensional that there isn't one I have come to care about. I keep hoping the beasties win the day! The CGI is OK, but that's about all this has going for it.

The UK has finally got a top class series that blows the other ones out of the water ! The dinosuars look so real and at times we found ourselves holding our breath. My daughter now wants the toys to go with this dvd . Thankfully they have released them and a cuddly rex will be on the way next month. This is what dvds were made for . 10/10 !

I can never understand why people compare Primeval and Dr Who both are different yes so there is timetravel but one deals with dinosaurs the other with people dress up as silly Aliens!!
I know which one i would sooner watch on a saturday night.
Primeval has the best storylines and a fabulous cast to match.
Douglas Henshall is just perfect for his role as Nick Cutter a man who thought his wife was dead but found out she was living in the past through anomally.
With his team of Stephen Hart,Connor Temple,Abby Maitland and Claudia Brown they deal with Creatures from the past and future.
To make sure they are the only ones who knows about whats going on and not to let anyone else know about them.

Brilliant show highly enjoy it!!

I brought this box set as i missed the first series. I was wondering what it would be like but i just loved it, great series. I cant stop watching it completely addictive.

Amazing series, best show ever, a must buy, the best program by far!

despite what a few people say this isn't 'ITV doing Dr.WHO' this is a show all of its own, with its own merits (and drawbacks)

there's a really good mix of creatures - and not just dinosaurs - tho some of them can look a little too CGI

plus there's a really good cast that especially shine when playing off each other. it's good to see relative newcomers being given an opportunity to prove their worth

the DVD itself is lacking in special features - there's one 'making of' feature and that's it! just a few trailers wold have improved this

still, this is a great piece of entertainment

oh, and Hannah Spearritt in her pants...!

An amazing show this series left me screaming for more. One of the best sci-fi shows ITV have made. Nearly better than Doctor Who! You Have to watch it!

i love doctor who so when it finished i was gutted bout this took its place it is really good
