Everyone's got a favourite film and this one is mine.
a flawless script and brilliant acting make this a film every movie lover should see.
William holden and faye dunnaway were never better and peter finch, in sadly his last role won an oscar for his role as the manic apocalyptic newscaster.
So shout it out

I just finished watching this movie and was blown away.
This film is probably one of the most underrated films ever, the writing, acting and cadence are perfect and the tandem stellar performances by so many great actors is not to be missed or repeated!
Sidney Lumet's satire shows the hollowness of television and the mindless generation that is produced from an excess of it. This film is shocking and eye-opening also showing executives' mad quest for ratings.
The story line of the film is now the current state of television. I've never known another film to be so completely prophetic.

This film is more relevant today than when it was made in 1976, no special effects, no hollywood bullshit, just a powerful film with a very powerful message.

"Network" by Sidney Lumet is the best future film I've seen so far. The movie is so powerful and so scary that it makes me hard to believe, that Chayefsky had guts to write dazzled truth of the world and TV being as one massive money market and that we as people are a big part of its industry! Big bow for Lument, Finsh, Holden, Dunaway and of course Chayefsky fo making this outstanding picture. This film is a milestone... Masterpiece! 10/10

I caught it recently and was mesmerized by its messages of the dehumanizing corporate machine and its hold over all of us. The fact that it delivers this message so bluntly yet brilliantly makes this essential viewing in my opinion. Some fantastic dialogue and acting from Finch, Holden, Dunaway and Duvall round the film off nicely. An intelligent masterpiece.
