Run aground during a fierce storm, a group of passengers are forced to abandon ship. As the survivors (among them prisoners, a prison guard and a criminal psychologist) struggle ashore, they find themselves at an apparently deserted lighthouse.
It's not long until they discover the headless corpses of the lighthouse keepers and they realise that the ship was also carrying a prisoner more dangerous than any of them - murderer Leo Rook (Christopher Adamson). Hunting them down one by one, pyschopath Leo sets about satisfying his bloodlust while the terrified group try to stay alive until daybreak...

allthough i am a james purefoy-fan this movie is not one of my favourite. it does have some suspense and it can be entertaining if there is absoluty nothing on tv. i like to call it a horror-thriller with a convincing killer. the deathcount is surprisingliy high. the story is quite unique compared to other horrorfilms.
james purefoy does a good job, but the low picture quality reduced my voting by 1 star.
