Eager to find her estranged father, Summer (Twilight's Ashley Greene) sets out on a cross-country journey of sorts when she encounters a slight run-in with the law. Much to her amazement, a local handyman rescues her. It's an unusual connection, but she is quickly charmed and accepts his invitation to spend the night. The following morning she is in for a rude awakening when he decides to change the rules of attraction by trapping her in his house. Taken prisoner in the demented strangers basement, her dream has come to a bitter end and her real-life nightmare has only just begun.

Summer's Moon is one of the most deranged, shocking and twisted family thrillers ever made...

I received this DVD for christmas and was excited as I am a massive fan of Twilight, and so a massive fan of Ashley Greene. When I first had a look at it, I thought I had just got a horror movie. But when I watched it, I realised that it wasn't a horror. It was more like bits of a horror film were cut out and put into this film. I thought it worked brilliantly, although it is what a lot of people wouldd consider 'wierd'. It's interesting to watch Summer as she tries to work out her escape, failing numerously. 4/5, although I wouldn't consider it to fans of hardcore, gory, and highly recommended horrors!!

I wouldn't bother buying this film. I wouldn't class it as a horror more like a very sad comedy.

The acting in this was absolutely laughable. Not scary in the slightest, more like a horror comedy but i have a funny feeling that wasn't the films intention,
