This film is unbelievably fantastic. it kept me on the edge of my seat. if you liked the day after tomorrow, then you will love this, in my opinion this beats the day after tomorrow by a long shot. it's very romantic and moving that it will bring tears to your eyes. I loved it!

Very average film that will test your patience.

This definately falls into Disaster film category for both good and bad reasons.
Con's of the film -
This film is only watchable in English subtitles, it would have been better for a English voice over option which there is not. This is a big issue for me as Disaster films are about watching the disaster and not reading subtitles which can cause you to miss parts of the disaster scene's.
The film is real dull leading up to the disaster part to the point where I felt real eager to skip the film to the diaster part but I perservered and stuck with it.
There is also annoying cheesy acting which will make you cringe. Not forgetting female actors screaming while talking which gets on your nerves whilst you try to read the sutitles.
Pro's of the film -
The last 25 minutes are good with some great special effects.
The scene's of the tidal wave are frightening and suspenseful and open your eye's to the power and effects that Tsunami's have on it's victims.
To sum up................... This film is only worth watching for the last 25 minutes.
I give it 3 stars and not 2 beacuse the disaster part made up for sa lot of things
