All of my friends love Gavin & Stacey but i have never watched any of it before. When christmas came along i decided to buy this boxset after i watched a couple of clips on youtube to see what it was like. My mother, sister and I ended up watching the whole boxset over boxing day and we barely even had any breaks. We couldn't stop watching! Nessa is hilarious with her serious deadpan voice and her sayings such as, "Oh, Oh, Oh, Merry Christmas." I recommend this to anyone and seeing as you get three series and the xmas special it is amazing value. I just wish that they would run a fourth series.
1 word outstanding! Never thought they could out do series1 and 2 but they pulled it off. Bryn by far the funnist out the series has some classic moments.I would suggest snapping it up while the price is good won't let you down and they finish the show in my mind on a high
Ah, that curious beast - a SitCom that is strangely lacking in comedy, and yet lots of people seem to like it.
Possibly for a lack of anything better on TV?
The only saving grace is Rob Brydon's ability to say anything with a Welsh accent and make it sound quite amusing.
Otherwise, poor.
I can't believe how well written this is! From the very first episode to the last is just fantastic, If your looking for a great laugh and easy watching, effective tv then this is exactly what you need :) It is simply fantastic is all i can say!!!!
If you are reading this review then you should just go and buy the box set, it is so funny, my whole family loves it, you never get bored of watching it!
