i bought this boxset as soon as i saw it, remembering how i used to tune into the show as a child, eagerly awaiting that weeks mystery. i was hoping for an exciting and enjoyable trip down memory lane and was not disappointed!
i think ive watched every episode about 3 times, and still think its fabulous, if you love a quirky mystey series, with loveable and often gently humourous characters this is the show for you!
i could never guess how the murders/mysteries were done, and it kept me guessing until the end of every episode. Davies and Quentin are a brilliant duo, and i cant wait to get the next two series!
i highly recommend it!

Jonathan works as an inventor of magical tricks. His employer Adam Klaus is a womanizing, good for nothing, cheating swine.

His good but strange relationship with Maddy (an investigative journalist) turns to solving some of the most exciting and complicated mysteries to date.

I hugely recommend this box set to anyone who enjoys a good mystery. Although not all the mysteries are murder related, they are still vastly intriguing and extremely fascinating.

This a really good programme .
Alan Davies is a stand up comedion and makes the jump into telly well .
His character Creek is a man who designs up ideas for a magician .
He works out the impossible and makes them plosable .
And having this talent , teams up with quentins character to solve murders , which makes you think how on earth did the murderer do it .
If you never saw this when it was on the box back in the late nneties then i recommend you get it .
It's great telly watching .
