This is just an astonishing concert. Everything about it is superb. Joe and his band are phenomenal, the Albert Hall oozes atmosphere and the dvd sound and picture quality are excellent. Played through a decent home cinema system it'll blow you away, especially the DTS mix. I promise you, especially if you are new to Joe Bonamassa, you will be amazed by this concert and in awe of a truly great artist.

  Stand aside Eric Clapton...

I think the graphitti in London should be changed to 'Bonamassa is God', this performance of Joes manages to be unique in so many ways, and I loved the idea of having 2 drummers in the band, that was pretty bad ass because they echoed off each other all the time it was awesome, although i didn't feel it was necessary to split it into 2 DVDs for 1 performance, although that doesn't really affect the performance factor of Joe here, if anything they're like 2 different chapters in the concert.
I've loved Joe for a number of years now, and seen him live twice, he truly is amazing every time and constantly delivers good blues, if anyone was looking to get into Joe, try the 'You and me' album or 'Sloe Gin', they're some of his best work!

If you like Blues played with fire and passion, then you have to own this DVD. Joe is on fire with his Les Paul screaming and wailing with a tone to die for. From the very start of the disc you can sense how much playing the Albert Hall means to Joe and his family, its something he's dreamed of since he was a boy. As he says you only get one shot at getting this gig right, and boy does he get it right. And there's the added bonus of blues royalty in the form of Clapton joining him on stage, the reason Joe is here in the first place. Sit back and tap your feet.

Cried when I couldn't get a ticket.
Smiling like a loon every time I watch this.
Seen JB live five times now, been lucky enough to be at a few of the more intimate evnues he's played: this dvd is like being there.
His guitar work still leaves me aching to be a guitar player.
Seeing him with EC feels like a circle completing itself.
This will forever stand as a seminal JB concert.

  Wish i was there!

***** Absolutely brilliant - going to see JB in December in Belfast - can't wait!
Just one thing spoilt it for me is the audio and video is totally out of sync on the bonus track 'Woke Up Dreaming' :-(
