'Brazil' is a Terry Gilliam's surrealistic nightmare vision of a 'perfect' future where technology reigns supreme. Everyone is monitored by a secret government agency that forbids love to interfere with efficiency. When a daydreaming bureaucrat becomes unwittingly involved with an underground superhero and a beautiful mystery woman, he becomes the tragic victim of his own romantic illusions. This offbeat fantasy blends biting humour with an unforgettable look at the delightfully dastardly tomorrow.

I used to hate this film, but watching it again recently made me realise what a masterpiece of dark humour it really is, Harry Tuttle Lives!
Very dark humour

A film for the anarchists in us, Gilliam's film has stunning visuals and an amazingly dark and hilarious plot. Watching this with Non-British people might be a bit of an obstacle because it is very British humour. Its not Monty Python style either if that's what you're expecting. Great film, at five pounds, if you don't buy it, you should probably be requisitioned and shot.
