Following the phenomenal success of By Any Means Wicklow to Sydney, Charley Boorman is back with a brand new adventure.

Last year Charley set off from his childhood home in Ireland and made his way across the globe, using over 100 different forms of transport before successfully finishing the expedition in Sydney, Australia.

From Sydney to Tokyo By Any Means follows the adventurer extraordinaire as he rides, rows and flies his way 9, 500 miles north from his last stop in Sydney up the Pacific Rim to Japan's capital, Tokyo.

Using quad bikes, hovercrafts, wooden scooters, canoes, para-gliders and of course his favourite mode of transport - motorbike - Charley travels across vibrant cities, treacherous seas and impenetrable jungle and experiences some of the world's most stunning and diverse countries and cultures. Along the way he encounters fascinating people in some of the most isolated communities. He meets and makes friends with everyone from surfer dudes in Australia to Tribal leaders in Papua New Guinea and learns of the history, religions and ways of life of the local people he is with.

Encapsulating some truly awe-inspiring experiences, From Sydney to Tokyo By Any Means DVD is packed with adventure, motorbikes and Charley's enthusiasm for the world and its people.

Once again Charley sets off alone without his usual support crew and BMW. This is truely compelling viewing, Charley's humour, wit and courage gets him through countries that are not usual tourist destinations

 Still a good adventure

I'm a very big fan of Charley's / Ewan's adventures and I was so excited when I heard that Charley was doing another By Any Means. After watching the whole thing at first I was a little bit disappointed, but after watching it again I realised it is still a really good adventure and Charley is as funny as ever. Deafinatly worth a watch.

 Great 2nd Comeback by Charley

I too am a huge fan of Charley & Ewan. Very jealous of these guys wish I had the chance to do what they have.
This wasn't a let down. I cant wait for the next instalment.
Worth getting if you enjoyed there other DVD's.

 Boring.

I found this series no where near as good as By Any Mean Necessary or the 2 with Ewan McGregor. All it is is a home-made video of an expensive holiday made by a presenter having a free ride. Somebody like Bruce Parry would've made a much better and informative series than this.
