I remember this one being a bit long winded but as always i like most of Seagals work, the production is good but the overall impression is that this is more like an excellent crime series but don't get me wrong there were still some action.

this is seagal back to his best.he may be almost 60 but still packs a punch.a dangerous man is again a step in the right direction.i think his last 4 films have all been very good.although i think renegade justice is the best in recent years.the film starts with him doing 6yrs in prison for a murder he didnt do he comes out to find he has lost his wife.it doesnt waste time getting straight in to the action where 2 men try to mug him only to find him in a bad mood and some brutal action takes place and as usual they come of the worst.after leaving them all messed up he then goes to get drunk and ends up in a car park and witnesses a policeman getting killed by 2 chinese men and he also helps 2 other men also caught up in the situation.what we see then is what steven is best at a hand to hand fight scene involving akido and is very well choreographed.this film is very entertaining without going overboard.we have russians/chinese and corrupt policeman.i have noticed in recent films is the body double that steven uses for his long shots and walking scenes and also when he sits down and is talking to some one the camera is directly behind his back and the hair style is different and greased back and then it goes to his front and you can see the difference.i not sure why he does that?but a great film if your a seagal fan

Reminiscent of his very first action films which were excellent. Story superb action brilliant, his own voice, not dubbed, no wig showing etc etc. production as SDX said is superb also, hope he sticks with this format.

Seagal has certainly fell in with a better production team recently because his last few straight to DVD movies have been much better quality! A dangerous man is probably his best in years, I thought the keeper was pretty good but this is miles better, as a big Seagal fan I was pretty impressed with the quality budget of this film, the great action scenes, loads of very violent fight scenes and cool bloody death scenes! Seagal kicks ass!!! A must own for any fan or anyone who loves a small time action movie with a retro action star.

 Dangerously good, classic Seagal

This is well worth a few quid. I thought Seagal had seen his best days but I was happily surprised by the classic action and fight scenes in this one. Expect dead-cool hard-man lines and some excellent arm-breaking sound effects. Recommended!
