Truth be told this movie is a bit of a mess. It takes longer than necessary to establish the A-Team as the group we already know them to be, its full of plot holes, the one-liners aren't always as funny as the writers seem to think and any attempts to add emotional depth to proceedings simply fall flat. Despite all these problems however it is hard to deny that I was thoroughly entertained for virtually all of the films two hour running time. My advice would be to sit back, switch of your brain and enjoy the ride.

  I love it

bought this for my husband for his birthday, he is a big fan of the original. Our opinion is... we loved it. OK maybe Murdoch was not quite as crazy as in the original series, but overall we thought it was really funny and done within the style of the first. Our kids laughed all the way through. We liked the way it was 'updated' to suit todays ordiance. Watch and enjoy.

  Brilliant!

Best film ive seen in a long time.

Wasn't expecting a film version of the tv series to be so good.
Each actor plays their characters to absolute perfection, outstanding movie :D

  A-Team more like C-Team

Being of an age to remember the classic TV series I was looking forward to the release of this movie. Unfortunately as with a number of recent releases of 70's and 80's TV series this disappoints on a number of levels. The action is okay as it should be with the technology available today but the characters are so badly portrayed and leaving you feeling empty rather than wanting more. I always feel that when they make these types of film they should use the original characters to introduce a new generation as they did, to a certain extent, with the Star Trek franchise. Trying to make a movie with the same characters always creates comparison and as with most of these the original is always better. Having said that if you have never seen the A-Team you will probably love this movie. If, like me, you remember the original you will think that these guys are the C_Team rather than the A-Team.

  Great Fun

I was given this for Christmas and was a little dubious at first, but having watched it i was pleasantly surprised.
The A team is never going to be serious, thought provoking drama, that's not what it was ever about. It's basicly a buddy action movie and very good at it, it is too.
The cast do a good job of replacing the iconic originals and you soon accept Liam Neeson as Hannibal. The hardest man to replace was Mr T as B.A. and he is the least convincing replacement, but that is more than made up for by Sharlto Copley (District 9) as 'Mad' Murdock. He is simply brilliant and you totally believe he is nuts,(trying to jump start an Ambulance with a Defibrillator made me laugh out loud).
Action scenes are excellent, especially the end game in LA harbour, and the whole film is entertaining.
It ain't going to win an oscar, but it does what it does very well, and i hope they do another... I love it when a plan comes together!

  :D hard to fault

I will admit i have never seen the series leading up to a movie, so i must not of picked up on the mistakes eople found. I thought the cast match their charcters, the storyline was gripping and i didnt think it was predictable. I thought it had every element a good action movie should have. The movie definateley made me into a A-team fan

  Enjoyable, but Very Very Predictable

OK, when i say predictable I don't mean in the sense of knowing whats about to happen, rather than nothing has changed about characters at all. The only one to bring anything to there character is Brad Cooper, and even then not so much. But BA in particular, says nothing new all film, just poorly re-hashed line's from Mr T, same pretty much with Murdock. And Hannibal , what kills me with him in this film is that every other word out of his mouth is "Plan".

So all they've done is take, what original cast made famous and absolutely kill it...You expect to hear some line's.
"An't getting on no plane fool"
"I love it when a plan comes together"
But it is too much, but then hay what do you expect?

On the plus side, it is very light hearted, and good fun much like original, and because of that i say its OK.

I suppose i'd of liked it if it had a little more depth, cast added at least something to there character's, i think all will find something to kinda enjoy otherwise you wouldn't even be looking at it. Hope you do.......
