I'm a big fan of Christopher Nolan and i highly recommend anyone who enjoys any of his movies to pick this up,its very short (only 70 minutes) but it has a great story to tell and superb characters as usual for a Nolan movie, superb finale (didn't see it coming).

     Nolan Rocks!

This is a great early film by Christopher Nolan, it's similar to Memento in it is a fantastic story, with a wonderfully twisty ending.
Shot in black & white on an obviously small budget, the cast are superb and I think I'm right that it's a London film school project (which is even more pleasing)
It is fairly slow to get going and if you're easily confused you may want to watch it with someone not as stupid as yourself to help you through it, but it is a very good film and well worth getting at this price.
In fact, I may watch it again tonight, or maybe I'll watch Memento again.
Good job Mr Nolan, the monkey salutes you.

Startlingly raw Christopher Nolan masterpiece debut

The rawness only adds to noir-like nature of the film and the quality, the low-budget black-and-white short is a masterclass in filmmaking, shows that you don't need a Hollywood budget and cast to create a damn good film, you just need the basic ingredients: the idea and the smarts to put it together on film.

Definitely one of his best, draws similarities with Memento - certain ideas have been semi-recycled on a bigger scale with Memento - and is very guerilla style put together, grabbing your attention from the start; one of those great films that just is; it happens and you either keep up and enjoy it or you don't, it plays out regardless.

The (very small) cast is superb and the story written brilliantly, playing out in its disjointed timeframe, Christopher Nolan's budgets might have gotten bigger and his cast more Hollywood but he is still dedicated one hundred percent to pure cinema, uninfluenced by commercialism: it's all about the experience with him and has been from the start.

If you enjoyed any of his films, in particular Memento or The Prestige, you will definitely enjoy this.

Excellent low budget film from Nolan

Following is the professional debut of the enormously talented director Christopher Nolan. It was made on a budget of 6,000 dollars and is shot in black and white. The Plot follows a non-linear story meaning that the sequences are shown out of chronological order (a frequent thing in many of nolan's films) The plot takes some great twists and turns and will act as an inspiration to young independent filmmakers.

There are some cool extras on the disc, one lets you view the film in chronological order.
Highly recommended to everyone not just indie film and Nolan film fans.
