Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the Enterprise-E crew find themselves on a diplomatic mission to initiate peace with the Romulans. Learning that the Romulans have undergone a political upheaval and their new Praetor, Shinzon, wants to discuss a peace treaty with the Federation, Picard and his crew must investigate the situation and determine Shinzon's sincerity. But they learn that not only is the new Praetor not a Romulan at all but a native of Romulus' sister planet Remus, they also find that he is a human replica of Picard, originally bio-engineered by the Romulans to be substituted for the captain as a weapon against the Federation. Now, Picard and his crew must determine if the Romulans truly desire a peace treaty, or if they have other plans in mind.

The 10th star trek film in the series which, is generally viewed in a negative manner. Some believe it shows poor character performances and accompanied by a poor plot. However Nemesis approaches a darker side of the star trek universe which, may contribute to some negative factors. The film has moved in a different direction to previous star trek titles with more of an evil theme. I would definitely recommend this film as it does deliver some spectacular action sequences within the plot. These may be short lived but none the less they provide significant entertainment. The overall plot is neither simple nor extremely intriquite. Yet it does contain detail and is definitely enough to satisfy. A Star trek fan would surely love this film as well as any sci-fi or action lovers. It may not be in the same league as Star Trek Contact which I would also suggest purchasing. But it does fulfil the minimum star trek requirements that Insurrection did not. A great Star Trek film to add to the collection.

 Great Film!

I'm a huge fan of star trek and i went to see this film in the cinema (with 2 friends who are not so into it but still like it) they both thought it was good and so did I! Great and interesting story, (of course the actors are great so no need to say that), GFX are good (the Enterprise has never looked so good! :D) So if your a Star Trek fan get the film for sure! (along with all the others cause they are great too!!) If your into Sci-Fi but not sure on Star Trek, get the film cause it's entertaining if your not into sci-fi it's a good story which anyone can follow without having watched any Star Trek ever! So anyone Get the Film! :D

This is possibly the best next generation film of them all ! It brings the next generation storyline to a close with a big bang ! The writers have done a good job to keep the suspence high. Once again strong performances from all of the cast especially Brent Spiner (Data). Highly recommended

Good plot shame about everything else

Being Star Trek Number 10 I was hoping for another "wrath of khan" or "First Contact", dont get me wrong the film had potential and some good ideas but it didnt seem to use them well and all went to waste. At the end it felt a bit recycled, the last battle fighting the cloaked ship reminded me too much of star trek 6 which was a good film, and the director I think was to blame for all of this as in various parts of the film I think he hadnt got a clue of what he was doing, bring back Jonathan Frakes !!!!

this film was very good but i don't think it's a generation final journey because there is so much to tell like what happens to B4 and Riker there is more of a possible tv series continuing the voyagers of the titan and a picard droping in with the enterprise e they have wrote books called Star Trek Titan so why not a tv series i know millions of Star Trek fans would watch it and it would bring a better story them all the other series that have been before the new Star Trek film coming out is a joke it isn't what Star Trek was ALL about i fought they learned that from Star Trek enterprise they can't go back they have to go forward J.J can go and do lost but keep away from Star Trek.
