  Best Season Review!

Absolutely loved every moment of this season. Even when the season was over I still couldn't believe that Jenson Button was the Formula 1 World Champion it seemed surreal. This is probably the best Formula 1 DVD I own and i own all from 2006 - 2010 soon to be 2011. Don't think about buying it... just buy it you will not be disappointed. It covers all the highs and lows of the season, the struggle of Brawn in the second half of the season. The commentary is brilliant and it captures all the best bits from each race weekend. The nicest guy in Formula 1 won the championship and deserved it too. I wouldn't pass up the opportunity of buying it while it's so cheap, even if it was a lot more it would still be worth every penny.

Great season but slightly disappointing in terms of quality

2009 had a great shakeup of the rules and had more than a few great surprises. However, it is quite a dishonest season review for example showing Hamilton's spats more than Jenson's for example, Hungary's "how can this car be so bad?" is completely ommited. First 8 races are pretty dull because not much happens, second half of the season has too little too late for Hamilton, great performances by Hamilton, Vettel, Webber and Button in the second half and more mixed up with more teams going for it- compared to 2010, 2008 and 2007 seasons this is probably the most dull season in my opinion.

Brawn Again - Button and Barrichello

2009 was an historic Formula 1 year. A massive shake-up in the regulations saw Champions struggle and less familiar faces leading the pack. Witness the fairy tale story of Button and Barrichello, who thought they were out of a drive for 2009 when Honda pulled out of the sport at the end of the 2008 season. I loved the 2009 season as it showed the viewer the talent of the drivers in lesser teams who had never had a chance to shine, always cast in the shadow of the big teams. Witness the emergence of Brawn in their sole year and Red Bull's sudden rise to the top of the grid.
Ross Brawn did it again and gave Button what he had once given the mighty Michael Schumacher, a world championship!
