I loved this series first time around. My missus got this for my birthday and I still love it.Bentine was either a real life crackpot or a real genius to come up with this.Only thing missing were any episodes with the "battle scenes" with the little puffs of smoke and footprints(if you saw this as a kid you know what I mean). My 10 year daughter thinks it's funny and my 70 year old parents love it too.BRILLIANT.
just as I remembered as a child in the 70's

looked for this to be released for a long time, my 3 kids (7 - 11 years when I first bought this) loved it. Not something you might watch all in one sitting, but good to pick certain episodes to dip into. Only disappointed that that large scale battle scenarios not on this series - they must have come later. Everyone who saw them will remember....the little dust clouds of explosions and the tramping of tiny feet shown on the model. But this series still stands up to time.....very pleased
