You'll be on cloud nine with the latest season of the animated sitcom as the Griffin clan return for more hilarious hi-jinks involving everything from steroids to inter-dimensional travel. With extended episodes deemed too rude for TV, you won't want to miss a second of this side-splitting series!

In Season 9, the Griffin family is back for more hilarious and inappropriate antics! This DVD includes exclusive extended episodes that were too rude for tv! Stewie and Brian travel through alternate universes in an homage to a sci-fi series; spies Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase (guest-voicing as themselves) move into Cleveland's old house, Stewie scores tickets to a sold-out concert and Lois lands a job on Fox News.

 Slowly getting worse

Now im going to be as neutral as possible here. This DVD is ok, there are some good laughs. But I challenge anyone to watch series 1 or 2 and tell me hand on heart that Family Guy has not slowly gotten worse. The tendency to lean on bad language rather than to throw the odd surprise in is wearing thin and the over use of peadophilia is lacking in taste. I think the first step to normalising something is to make it comical and child abuse im afraid is not a source for comedy. There are some memorable bits in this DVD but unfortunately nowhere near enough. I think this series will eventually die off or become so bad it unwatchable. I think American dad is winning the comedy stakes ( I wouldnt watch Cleveland & dont agree with cashing in like this).
It saddens me that such a great series is dying slowly and the genius of Seth Mcfarlane and co is being overshadowed by the desire to keep pumping out gimic filled episodes instead of the clever comedy and writing of the earlier episodes. Time to shape up I say and stop robbing the fans...I wonder how many have rated this against earlier episodes? I hope they start producing the quality again or I fear a sad slow end.

 Hit and Miss

This season is a bit of a hit and a miss, drawing on Family Guys patented storylines and cutaways. There are some episodes that fall flat in this season, but then the rest of the season makes up for it by bring us those classic moments that make us like family guy, with Peters shenanigans, Stewie's inventions and a long awaited storyline about the evil monkey in the closet. I will say that its a shame that the UK boxsets dont match up to the US airing schedule. Over all a good watch with a few episodes worth skipping.

 amazing

ok, i dont understand why other apparent "family guy fans" are giving this season one star, i must admit my self there are a few episodes that are really boring but, as the greatest family guy fan ever i can tell you that the majority of the episodes on this season are amazing especialy road to multiverse and 3 kings. so if you are a family guy fan dont give this a miss buy it :)

 That's Greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of the best series of Family Guy yet with some awesome episodes and really funny classic moments!! The episode that will stand out the most is "..Road to the multiverse.." This a fantastic and fresh story unlike you have seen before!! You will love the Disney animated sequence!! "..Quagmires baby.." is another very funny episode! This season is great and a must add to the growing collection!!
