While I had no intention of writing a review I didnt want people being put of by the one review that stood, Its is a good adaptaion in to the halo universe. Halo Legends is a seven story anthology, told across eight episodes, It is BASED on the halo universe and does not directly contribute to the Halo timeline, this is 7 top anime directors telling a halo story through there eyes. If you like halo you will love this. I thought it was okay, I would give it 5 stars but there was a style of anime I personally don't like.

 Not Halo.

Basically, if you like Halo.. Don't buy this. It's in no way relevant to the Halo series, apart from one or two character names. It's basically some Anime dvd, with a Halo twist. Unless you're really into Anime, don't bother. It's not even reminiscent of Halo in any way. For instance, in one scene a SPARTAN is playing with three children, dressed in cave man attire, and a dinosaur that fetches a bone once thrown. It's just another Japanese sell out DVD.

If there were an option to give 0 stars I would

This is awful. If your a fan of halo or anime then you should definately give this a miss. its rooting to the halo universe limmits its potential to be a good anime and its cheesy and sub par story lines bare no resemblance to the games. it stinks.

i do respect everyones opinion but it dosnt supposed to be about the game in the way your thinking its halo in a different story and i think its brilliant theres nothing wrong with the way they made this it has the halo edge that i was looking for it gives that kick ass way of when the first halo was released and halo is still fighting strong and still is the best franchise ever created and yeah it may show a different outlook on halo but its still halo and it would of been boring if they made it like the games because most game movies suck so im glad they didnt
