An American law student in London. Knocked down by a black cab, she wakes with amnesia in a world that's a million miles from home - Wonderland. We follow her adventures as she's dragged through an underworld filled with twisted individuals and the lowest low-lifers, by the enigmatic cab driver, Whitey. She needs to find out who she is, where she's from and use what wits she has left to get back home in one piece. As her journey progresses she discovers nothing is what it seems, realizes that fate and life are terminally entwined, and finds true love lurking in the unlikeliest place.

However an modern adpatation of Alice in Wonderland may be just what he might enjoy. A man of fantasy and a film of fantasy well delivered by Danny Dyer & Co. I like the use of Dodgson being Lewis Carroll's real surname, nice touch. This film harks back to the surreal 60's & 70's which were made and it may be film making is going back in that direction. Its like Marmite this one, you will either love it or hate it.
This is a funny film in the sense that it is not the usual Danny Dyer type of film. The box art would suggest that it is a gun em down, shoot them up type of film that we all love Dyer for. The film is a very fast paced take on alice in wonderland, except with lots of swearing and lock stock type camera work.
The script is avarage but is lifted by the very unique premis and the great direction. The acting on the most part is great and the whole thing never feels cheap, thanks mainly to the movie being shot at night.
The film is a short affair running to just 73 minutes, it is over quickly which is good because the film if any longer would over stay its welcome.
Very poor film, very rushed film and to mad to weird acting from start to finish. Film could of been better if who ever made it could be bothered to make a good film.
Just watched to see what bits was filmed where i live!. Which i am planning to move away from.
I like to thank Danny Dryer for taking the time for his autograph and shaking his hand, I hope he does well in the future and make more cockney villain films and steer a way from places like Yarmouth it will just ruin your career mate! :D.
it's not a brilliant film, its rather pants to be honest. But Great Yarmouth is home and its great to see it in it's full glory.
I'll start off by saying No-body loves Danny Dyer more than me, even though he isnt the best actor and always seems to play....himself I really like the guy....I love his films like the business, football factory, outlaw severance etc.....but the odd few he's done like basement......very dissapointing! I'd rather watch paint dry.....this has got to be up there with one of the worst films hes ever done!!!!!!.....poor acting, silly story......avoid!
