This is the best end of the world movie ever made, a cult classic 80s sci-fi with a hint of comedy, great story, fantastic cast, great fun film this is a true example of how cool the 80s where and what great films were made, a gem of a film and a must in any 80s collection.

The movie is very old, it's a B movie but it's a MUST for SCI-FI fans.

night of the comet is a very underated b movie and deserves a bit more credit.first time writer and director thom eberhardt does a very good job with the screenplay and also handling the mixture of young and veteren actors.yes the film is over 25 yrs old but still is very watchable and the zombie make up effects by david miller are good.its not your usual george romero zombie film where they bite you and you turn in to a zombie.this is about a meteor that gives off some radioative rays and turns people in to zombie like creatures but they can talk normal but all they want to do is kill you.on the minus side the visual effects are not very good and the screenplay does fall apart in places but overall very underated and very enjoyable
