The year is 2039. World Wars have destroyed much of civilization as we know it. The remaining territories are no longer run by governments, but by corporations, the mightiest of which is Tekken.

In order to keep the masses down, Tekken sponsors the Iron Fist Tournament in which fighters compete to the death for ultimate glory and receive a lifetime of stardom and wealth.

You dont need to be a fan of the game to enjoy this, its a fast paced quality action movie full of cool fight scenes and great characters, the cast was great and all the fighters where done well, the story was good too, personally I thought as a game movie it was done very well and fans shouldnt complain it could have been allot worse, im a street fighter fan and the last movie they made about that was rubbish beyond belief, Tekken is twenty times better and watchable and is worthy of spending a night in for a bit of popcorn fun, check it out if you love a good fight movie!!!

Really impressed with this movie geat fight scenes and good story it actually seemed like a movie rather than a bunch of fight scenes thrown together deffinately worth a watch!

 Nonstop entertaining action

I loved this film, Followed the tekken storyline and the fight scenes were fast paced, Action packed and unpredictable. You really get a sense of how hard the fighters are with the graphic and brutal fighting at times but it all ties in with the game making it believable. It started to lose abit of momentum in the middle but held on and was entertaining to the end, I took a gamble and listened to the other reviews when i bought this dvd because i am a tekken fan and honestly even if your fan or not you will enjoy this movie if you like nonstop fast paced action, There is alot of critical debate on gaming films but i don't think anyone can hold anything on this one because the small bits that were slightly off are instantly forgotten once your immersed in the film and the action. I hope there is a sequel or even a trilogy, The ending is quite open to it but doesn't really give too much away, But it's the peoples choice give us what we want! : )

 Awsome!

ive been a big tekken fan since tekken 1, i have been waiting a long time for this film to come out and to be honest i wasnt expecting it to be great but i enjoyed watching for what it was. it seems to be half a reboot and half of the games we know and love. if ur expecting it to be just like the game well then u will b shocked but give it a chance and ull enjoy it as the fights are gd and story isnt to bad. the only bad thing i have to say about this is that its a bit short at 87 mins for me it need to be at least 100 odd mins and fight secens could have lasted longer which would have made it better in my eyes. watch till after the credits! if like tekken just buy it!
