  Some Good Some Bad

It's quite different from how you'd first expect it to be. It has a bit of comedy to begin with it but it gets serious very quickly, and once its serious it stays serious. There's not a great deal of comedy in this, a few lighthearted moments but the majority is drama about dealing with a child. There's some romance in the later stages, as you'd expect, but it doesn't develop the way you imagined. It seems all a little too random, nothing turns into Everything. In this respect it takes away from the movie itself. The drama side of things, the dealing with the troubles of being a parent is quite good. It seems true and you really feel the pressure and stress they're going through. However it fails to deliver laughs, and it doesn't do enough to bring the tears

Bought this on the strength of loving every other Katherine Heigl movie I've seen: The Ugly Truth, 27 Dresses, Knocked Up...but this was a bit flat, to be honest. I just don't see the chemistry between Duhamel and Heigl that other reviewers have seen. I don't get it that they eventually fall in love - when and why does this happen? For me, their relationship was not believable from the start.
However, the saving grace is that the film has an unusual situation at its heart that is handled very sensitively. Duhamel just doesn't do it for me, but if he does it for you, buy it - you might like it!

A gut churning cheesy "rom com" which is a must for Heigl and Josh Duhamel fans only, and that's about it. Like the baby they 'inherit' this film suffers from sickly, messy lines, childish acting and unambitious silliness. A poor couples film, this was too daft for me, and by nowhere as good as other rom-coms, and thus nothing here for me to recommend.

  Simply fantastic

I saw the trailer for this movie and knew right away I had to buy it. I was entertained from start to finish, Heigl plays her role perfectly. I really did love it. Definately one of the best movies from 2010.

  Perfect Mix

I loved this film - it's a perfect mix of happy and sad, to see the highs and lows of the relationship between the two main characters unfold was heart-warming with just the right amount of laughs. Will be watching this over and over again. It has to be said, it also helps that Josh Duhamel is so yummy!

they are both great actors and thought it would be funny, but this film was absolute rubbish, poor script and lack of of chemistry between the characters too.
