Sons Of Anarchy: Season 1 Box Set (4 Discs)

I simply do not have enough fine words to describe this show. I literally swallowed the two first seasons of the series, and I cannot wait for the 3rd to air.When done watching the first 26 episodes I almost felt like Jax, Gemma, Clay and all the others became my family. I even caught myself practising the phrase "Previously on Sons of Anarchy" with a voice like Jax's. They are a bad bunch of sons of hooters, who commit crime and kill people but I must say... I really miss them. Watch this show and you will never regret!

I actually thought the first episode started off a little slow, but by the end of te first episode, you wont be able to stop watching the SOA.

So many little stories intertwined with one larger story,, with some very good acting. The main dude who stands out is Jax, by far the story is centred around him, and he really does stand out above the rest of the crowd.

There are also good comedy sections that dont seem cheesy at all, and fit in very well within the episodes.

I didnt think this was going to be as good as it was, truly good to watch.

The Sons of Anarchy are an outlaw Bike Club based in the small town of Charmin, America. They keep the town drug free but run guns to fund their club. This series follows them as they fight off efforts from the ATF to close them down, deal with local issues and family issues within the club.

A friend describes this as The Sopranos on two wheels. I've seen this series, but will be buying on DVD when it's released here. This show combines the spirit of bike clubs with the elements of outlaw style clubs, bringing a sense of family and community together with gun running and gang rivalries. It's well acted and the story lines are gripping and develop as the series progresses. I was glad I didn't have to wait a week for the next episode. Anyone with an interest in bikes should find something they like in this series, but I'd say it would be a good watch for anyone who likes shows like the Sopranos, or interactions between law and order and anarchists of some form.

was not expecting much to be honest,but was gladly suprised!
biker films have been stale now for many years but this breaths back so much life into a lifestyle most folks want but are scared to get.
(apart from the necrophilia bits i hope!) great cast and story line,hope it can last for at least 3 seasons,before the shock level wears off!
but saying that i have watched each disc back to back.if i had have saved them for 1 a week i would probably still be mortified by something in each episode!

Cant wait to own this show myself, best series I have seen in years !
