Final Destination 2 was a good film but the thing that bugs me about this is it as lost some of that dark creepy tension that made Final Destination the brilliant film it was.
The story for this one is good a young girl gets a premenition that her and her friends will die in an horrific highway car pile up she saves many lives but now death as other ideas and is coming for the survivors.
Death moves much quicker in this film building up less tension and going for lots and i mean lots more blood, guts and gore. The death scenes are really graphic in this one and the tension that the first film built is sadly lost.
The return of Ali Larter as Clear from the first film is a good touch and how the survivors of the first film are in some way connected to the survivors in this film is a clever idea.
I did enjoy this film but it is not as good as the first film in the collection well worth watching.

i love these films and i throught the 3rd 1 was the best and goryest with the 1st coming in a close 2nd and the second coming in 3rd but i have a question witch is "was saw inspied by these films?" as it is soooo simila in the way that they are both about the different ways people can die eatch more brutal than the first.

 Ignore the critics.......

final destination 2 is a brilliant sequel.normally they are never as good as the original but this is a close second but you sort of know what to expect which just took the edge away slightly but neverless its a worthy sequel.director david ellis gets top performances from his young cast and the cgi effects are very good.some of the death scenes are gory but not over the top.the screenplay is rather good and bringing back ali larter from the first film gave it that edge.overall a brilliant sequel
