This version of The Lion King has the added extras of a second version of the film, Behind the scenes footage, scenes that didn't make it past the cutting room floor, music videos and other little bits that made the kids smile.

This is such a great film.
It is loved by all the family.
The characters are so loveable and full of energy.
It's an emotional film with a great film about life and the importance of family.

The lion king is a beautiful movie by disney, breathtaking and wonderful you can't go wrong with the lion king. A winner.

This film really touches my heart mainly because of the father/son relationship it is a wonderful film and the soundtrack is amazing!!

The best of the disney classics with an amazing soundtrack and 2 of the best comedy characters in Timon & Pumba.

Can't wait for the re-release in November 2011 so I can finally own it on Blu-Ray and see the opening 'Circle Of Life' in HD

This film is possibly the best childhood film ever made, its always been my favourite film of all time and always will be. I LOVE IT! would be an understatement.
The plot of the film is great, you dont get boring moments its always got your attention. Its funny, emotional, musical. Its got everything a childs film should have and even now at my age it still makes me cry, i could watch it over and over again.
One of the best, i very much so recomend this film.

As a Disney collector and a massive fan of all things Disney i find it very hard to say which one of Disney's classics is my all time favourite. But in The Lion King you have a legend of a film the music is amazing, The characters superb, The voice actors make the characters even more fantastic and the story is brilliant.
Elton John and Tim Rice did a fantastic job as every single song is this classic film are brilliant and The Circle Of Life still sends a shiver down my spine when i watch this film.
This is my wifes favourite and is fast becoming my little girls favourite film she is 4 and she cant get enough of it.
Walt Disney raised the bar for animated films with this film and i doubt they will ever make another film that as the same feeling as this film.
Long since deleted on DVD now this film is well worth breaking the bank to get hold off or maybe wait until the end of the year to see if it is up for a re-release from the Disney vault.

Saw the show in Broadway in 2007 ....unforgettable..going back to the States in Oct. Hoping to see it again...

The Lion King is probably the best film Disney's ever made, i am 15 and still watch it! its an awesome film! i've had this on video for a long time, and the tape is getting worn, and i dont wanna stop watching it! ill be buying this very soon... non stop laughs when Timone and Pumba arrive on the scene, and some of the other scenes are very upsetting (not me!) this film is truly awesome!

The answer is simple. This movie is brilliant, terrific, excellent, joyful, tearful, emotional, blissful, fantastic, superb, fabulous, perfect, great, amusing, tremendous and its good too.
