This is a good film and was great and very philosophical at quite a few points! Good fighting scenes but not again like some martial at films need a few more fight scenes to make it look even better!

  Awesome action

This is one of the best action films I've ever seen and to a rating of 12, it's lucky, personaly I think it should be a 15 but it's been about 6 years since I've seen it so it might not be as bad as I remeber.
All I know for sure is that it is action packed.

One Of The Worst Films Ever Made

I enjoy martial arts films of all ages, from Bruce Lee classics like 'Enter The Dragon' to Jet Li greats like 'Unforgiven' but i strongly recommend you spend your money on another type of cheese as this film is just laughably bad. As if the title isn't bad enough, the acting is of a record low standard and the story is just plain boring.

'One of Chow Yun Fats best!'

| | See all Brabham's reviews (21)

Chow Yun Fat (who plays the monk with no name in the movie) has never (i personally think) made a better movie. It has cool Gung-ho action with plenty of fantasy Martial arts in it. Chow Yun Fat plays his role perfectly and the movie is very good from beggining to end. His cool perseption of his role mixed with Seann Williams's 'dirty' and street-like attitude makes a fantastic coupling. There are many thrilling scenes in the film with plenty of gun fights and mystical bouts. This film does deserve 5 stars however there are moments of dissapointing special affects, however the acting is second-to-none.
